Motivation

I need some. So if you have any to spare, could you toss some my way?

I have a ton of pictures that I need to upload, touch up, and then get on Etsy.

I have a house that is slowly descending into a state of chaos, a state in which I fear there is no return from.

I have a pile of laundry and dishes that both seem to be a mile high.

Yet what am I doing? I am sitting here, typing into a white box, because I think someone will want to read this dribble that I call life.

My daughter is behind me, making her Barbies run around and yell, I think they are playing tag. My son is making a toy train smash repeatedly into the back of  a toy car, and he's squealing excitedly each time. Handy Manny is on the TV. This, is my life.

The floors are covered in toys and crumbs. My computer desk is littered with coffee mugs, water bottles in various stages of empty to full, and more jewelry making stuff than you can shake a stick at.

It's funny... that my house slowly descends into this chaos, and I can never get up the energy to clean. I lose track of myself, and get distracted way to easily. Yet, if you were to tell me you were coming over, I could get more cleaning done in the 10 minutes before your arrival than I get done all week.

The Void Blog

I'm sitting here, drinking an amazing cup of coffee from Wawa, that my loving husband went to get me. Wawa is 2 minutes down the road, so it was a lovely act of kindness on his part.

And yes, you read that correct. It is 10:00pm and I am drinking a coffee. This, is how I roll.

Alright, onto important shit. I mentioned before, and some of you might remember it, that I had made a blog about two years ago, with the same title as this one. Well, earlier today, thanks to my BFF totes 4eva Haley, I went on a search for that blog. I found it, but could not access it.

My Tech Support Husband has failed me. He is baffled as to what the internet is doing. I will explain, and if anyone reading this has any ideas, kindly toss them at me, because I'm stumped. Stumping me is not hard, I'll admit, but DAMN am I stumped!

Here's the issue:

I have an account on AOL.com that is tied to my old blog. I can log into that account via blogger/blogspot, but it brings up an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PROFILE. It's not me. It's just not.

Username:

Blog Name:
Me - Ma Ma Do
Random Account - Bloggin Bout Baby

E-mail Tied to Account:

EXPLAIN THIS. SOMEONE. PLEASE.

I am stumped, and so is my husband. He works in IT. He literally IS tech support. I don't just call him that because is computer smart, I call them because he is computer smart and it's his job.

I'm guessing the only way to fix that is to somehow get in contact with Google, which is way to much for my lazy ass. So I guess I'll just leave it in The Void.

Meet The Mama Do

It's introduction time, I suppose. I guess I'll start. My name is Jessica, and I'm The Mama Do. This is actually my second attempt at a blog, because for some reason, the first one has become lost in the void. It exists, but accessing it is impossible. Whoops.

Moving on, because honestly, I'd rather not focus on how internet incompetent I am.

"Mama Do" is a nickname I obtained about 2 1/2 years ago, from a good friend and his parents. My daughter, who is now 4, used to constantly say "Mama do!" when she wanted something done. By me, obviously. She wasn't calling random people "mama." After my friend and his parents heard this at the carnival, it stuck.

When I originally made this blog, I will admit that I was absolutely at a loss for what to title it. It came to me when my daughter was pestering me to do a task for her. ("Mama do! Mama do! MAMA! DO! MAMAAAAA DOOOOO!") This was roughly two years ago. Yes, the title of the Void Blog is also Mama Do. I tacked on a "The" this time. I'm original like that.

The daughter in question, is 4 year old Kaelynn. You can see her, along with brother Mason, in my header. Mason is 2 years old. That photo was taken over the weekend, so it's pretty fresh. They are enjoying some ice cream in the backyard.

Next up, the Husband. The Husband is Tech Support, my computer go-to guy, because if you haven't caught on, I'm not net smart. Matt, on the other hand, is very net smart. He fixes all my broken things. I am going to put his smarts to the test and see if he can rescue my other blog from The Void. I'll update you on that later. I only want it rescued so I can delete it. I don't need the competition, yo.

There are currently no more people in my house to introduce, but we have 4 furbabies. All of which are cats. I'll start with the oldest. Cuddles is a 14 year old calico, and a crotchety cat who absolutely does not live up to her name. In the slightest. Next is Chairman Meow, a big orange and burly fellow. He's 3 years old, and a big baby. Finally, the twins. They'll be turning 1 this year. A brother and sister pair, both of them are grey and fat. Ser Pounce and Lady Whiskers. Bonus points for you if you catch the reference. Those are the furbabies, all of which are rescues.

This is a blog that is mainly for fun, and I'll probably forget to post quite often. I guess I'll apologize for that now. So, yeah, sorry.

The first post is never interesting, so I'll end your torture, and stop typing.
